STARS & STRIPES WITH A TWIST

I think for the Independence Day this year I just want to sleep.  Paty Positive is POOPED.  I need my second or third wind.  I had an early client today then forced myself to check a couple of stores for deals on patriotic accessories with the goal of creating the new performance character.  (If you don't know what I am talking about check yesterdays blog entry).  Last night I scanned google search images for some ideas.  The one I liked best would have to be constructed.  There were some others that were decent. Usually I put my own thing together and not work out of the box.  Really?  HA.

On my drive to meet my client the name popped into my head.  The FREE business cards are now ordered. Why?  Because I have an idea.  You will have to be patient with me until like a flag it unfolds.

 

Now where were we?  I stopped by at IPARTY's NEW location.   I browsed around the 4th of July wall.  I looked at something called a CAR COSTUME.  HUH?  The manager saw me looking at it and told me to wait.  He thought that the item had been marked down to almost FREE.  He returned giddy.  It wasn't FREE.  It was now $.80. Yesterday's free and almost free theme continues.  I had to buy it.  The mark down sticker said $15.49 and THAT was a discount.


I then went into the prepackaged costume aisle.  One of the online costumes I saw last night was there but without a price.  I asked the manager and once again he lit up with a giggle.  Not because the costume was sexy but because it had been so absurdly marked down.  A $50 costume was now $2.25!  How could I resist?  They didn't have any smalls but I picked up the medium anyway figuring I could take it in and make it fit. (I am not posting Paty Patriotica's photo until she is fully birthed.)

Now the red, white and blue twisting balloons and clown white face make-up are on order from my wholesaler in Texas.  The CAR COSTUME will have to wait to be attached to my MAZDA until tomorrow.  Of course I might be sleeping all day anyway. NAH but a few extra hours in the morning or a nap would be nice for a change.

So there you go. a NEW DO CHARACTER is about to be born.  Here's to you the red white and blue.
