EINSTEIN WOULD AGREE

I have taken a few days off from posting DO NEWS.  Not that I haven't done anything new.  In fact I have been busy DOing stuff but nothing too DO NEWS worthy.  Readership is down so I am giving you all some space.  After all it is a holiday week and I am tired.  I have a few days off now and I am taking them.

Here is a little NOTE:  People have been asking me why I don't have a route planned for my cross country adventure as the 15th is only nine days away.  I reply that it doesn't feel right yet.  I feel as if there are some puzzle pieces missing.  When they arrive it will all fit together.  I tried to map out a route but it isn't giving me that AH HA feeling.  Traveling always works out better for me if I educate myself, put out feelers, follow all threads and expect nothing.  Getting away from the maps and hiking or riding my bike (which I am about to go out and do now that my other work is done) frees up the energy for NEW things to come in.  It quiets my busy mind so that I can hear the little whispers and clues.  In essence I fully believe in break set and go play.  Einstein would agree with this concept.  Of that I am sure.  Does this make me genius potential?  OF COURSE!  We all are geniuses.  Play!

THE TRIP: Where had I wanted to go this summer?  Where all the fires are.  Seriously, that was my first intention.  I still have the books checked out of the library.  I figured I would drive west via a northern route then drive south, then back via Arizona and New Mexico.  I have to get back to Massachusetts by October 1st.

This map came from someone's posting on Facebook.  Unfortunately it was a photo and not a link so I cannot credit the artist.  You can also see a google map here which is very saddening indeed.

So once again I am being asked by the Universe to be flexible like the bamboo little grasshopper.  Bamboo sways in the wind and in a heavy storm it is the strong oak that falls.  But remember also that although bamboo is green it can still burn.  Listen to the wind and it will whisper to you your next destination. Go ride your bike.

This is nothing NEW.  It is how my life works.  Or plays.  I am out of here.  My camelback is full and I am off to pedal hard, ride free and feel, taste and hear the wind.

Have a great DO NEW weekend.  Keep DOing NEW stuff.  :)  Smile, be happy and be very grateful. NAMASTE.
